Motorcyclist dies in late-night crash near village

A motorcyclist in his 50s has died in a crash in Westwood Lane, Wanborough

A motorcyclist has died in a late-night crash on the outskirts of a Surrey village, police have said.

Surrey Police said a man in his 50s died at the scene of the crash near Wanborough, Guildford, at about 23:00 BST on Friday.

A spokesperson for the force said it was appealing for witnesses to the crash in Westwood lane, near the junction with Wanborough Hill.

The man's next of kin have been informed, the force added.
